The chihuahua is a hugely popular dog breed, they come in various sizes ranging from small to absolutely tiny, the smallest examples often referred to as teacup chihuahua or toy chihuahua. Chihuahuas are all small, fiercely loyal and often possessive dogs, demanding your attention most of the time. They are also often aggresive towards other dogs and strangers, and surprisingly brave at taking on larger dogs! A chihuahua is probably not the best breed for families with children, more as a companion for a single person, although of course they can be well trained.
