The diminutive Dachshund is a dog which comes in a number of varieties, depending on the length and consistency of the coat. Everyone knows when they see a Dachshund, the elongated shape of this little dog is rarely condused with any other breed. They can be mischievous and difficult, but Dachshunds are also friendly and are ok with older children, but can be difficult to stop barking and can even bite occassionally.
